JOB GROWTH IN THE HUDSON VALLEY?

According to the state department of labor, 5500 jobs were created in the Hudson Valley Last year.

The education, health and business sectors showed some growth while the unemployment rate crept up by 0.6 percent.

The statistical area of Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam counties ranked four out of 10 in the state while Orange and Dutchess ranked 8th.
